Our Youth class exists to introduce teens to Jesus, nurture their relationship with Him and encourage them to take a stand in their faith, eventually enabling them to become disciples of Christ themselves Our name is based on the story from Daniel chapter 3, where three young Hebrew boys refused to worship anyone but the true God and were punished by being thrown into a fiery furnace. They did not know what the outcome was going to be; they just knew that they needed to stand firm in what and Whom they believed in. Not only did God protect them in a miraculous way, they also got to see Jesus face to face in the fire! God never promised to keep us out of the fire, or tough times, but he did promise that He would be there with us, and He will bring us through life’s trials. Isaiah 43:2b says, “When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame scorch you.”
