Fireproof Youth
Fireproof Youth exists to introduce teens to Jesus, nurture their relationship with Him and encourage them to take a stand in their faith, eventually enabling them to become disciples of Christ themselves Our name is based on the story from Daniel chapter 3, where three young Hebrew boys refused to worship anyone but the true God and were punished by being thrown into a fiery furnace. They did not know what the outcome was going to be; they just knew that they needed to stand firm in what and Whom they believed in. Not only did God protect them in a miraculous way, they also got to see Jesus face to face in the fire! God never promised to keep us out of the fire, or tough times, but he did promise that He would be there with us, and He will bring us through life's trials. Isaiah 43:2b says, "When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame scorch you." Elder/Deacon Ministry
ELDERS: The New Testament Scripture is clear about those who have the responsibility of rule, oversight, and care of the church. These men are called elders, overseers, and bishops. All three different titles are used to the same spiritual office of leadership in the church and are interchangeable. We know that Christ is the head of the church and that He meditates His rule in the church through the shepherding of elders. All the decision making authority not required by a vote of the members of the church, is vested in the elders who shepherd the church. The objective of any and all decisions made shall be to do the will of God regarding the matter at hand. Decisions shall be reached after prayerful consideration in a spirit of humility, with each elder regarding one another before himslef. Each matter will be voted on twice, unless the vote is unanimously in favor. About Our Church

The focus of Good Shepherd Church of Greensboro is on worship, outreach and discipleship.  We believe in one God who has revealed Himself as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.   Our purpose is to bring Jesus Christ to those lost and to encourage those who are already believers. We are dedicated to guide believers to love God's Word, to live God's Word and to develope and encourage others to know Jesus Christ through His Word.  We want people to discover and fully experience God in their lives.

We believe the Bible is the inerrant word of our Living God and not just written to educate us but to change our lives.  We believe that Jesus died for the sins of the world and all that trust in Him will be saved.
