Children’s Ministry

Our Purpose Jesus places a high value on children. Preschoolers and children are very important to us at Good Shepherd Church. We follow an educational approach during the preschool years, and not just a “keeping/watching” approach. We know the value of permanent teachers and leaders for all classes and activities for children. We have a wonderful ministry team who serve in some capacity in preschool and children’s leadership. Baptismal Ministry

This ministry is to contact those to be baptized a week in advance of the Baptismal Service. 

Outreach Ministries

This ministry sends birthday cards, visits hospitals and sends flowers and cards tomembers and regular attendees that are hospitalized or homebound. To notify us if you or if you know of a member that is homebound and/or in a nursing home, please contact any member. 

Events Ministry

This teams organizes church events. They also prepare decorations, if necessary, and makes certain supplies are available. If you would like to serve on this ministry or want to use the church facilities for an event, contact: The church office.

CD Ministry

Kathy Huber leads this team that duplicates copies of CD’s and Bible Studies for distribution to nursing homes, the homebound and anyone that request a certain CD. If there is a sermon or Bible study you would like a copy of, there are forms in the lobby of the church for you to fill out and give to Kathy.

Technical Ministry

This ministry is responsible for the audio/sound equipment and visual presentations. Team Leader is Marvin Huber – Audio Team Leader is Daine Barber –
